I hadn't posted in awhile...

I just wanted to say that I am still here. I have not been coming to my blog sites very much. I just haven't really had any interest in doing so.

I hope this game comes to the US (and Europe)…

There is this game, called Dynasty Warriors 6 Special for the PSP (真・三國無双5 Special for the PSP), that will be released in Japan on September 3, 2009, and I really do hope that it is released in the US as well as Europe. This would be the only game that has a direct relationship with Dynasty Warriors 6 that was released for the Playstation 3, Xbox  360 and the Playstation 2. It was also released on Windows PCs but it wasn’t released on the PSP or other handheld consoles.

This game would be an awesome game to own because I could play the game like I play my Warriors Orochi game.

I just wanted to say something about this…

[Update: 12:31 PM, July 1, 2009]

I have Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, and previously I thought it was a direct derivative of Dynasty Warriors 6, I was wrong. It’s a spin-off with only the character design, movesets and weapons being the only thing that was from DW6. All other things between Strikeforce and DW6 are not related at all. As I said before, Dynasty Warriors 6 Special for the PSP would be the direct derivative game for the PSP from the PS2 version of Dynasty Warriors 6 Special.

I just wanted to clear that up.

Facebook Application Requests/Invites

Recently, I have been getting a lot of application requests/invites. I don't know how many times I have to tell people to never send me any of these things! I went so far as to state in my status message at facebook to not send me any requests/invites. I will only block the application anyway.

I had a friend do what I requested she not do: she sent me a request for a stupid application. So, I pretty much told her to not do it again or I will be forced to not only block the application which I already do, but also to block her. I detest, hate, loathe Facebook, Myspace, and all other social networking site web applications.

I have to let you know that I do this for everyone connected to me through my friendship on Facebook.

I am currently using Windows Live Writer to write this blog post…

I was able to finally be able to install (and use) Windows Live Writer (the most current version).
I also was able to get the Media Manager for the PSP 3.0 on my computer (which I wasn’t able to do so before since I was running Windows XP Service Pack 3). The only reason why I wanted the Manager was to get a demo that I wanted to try, and I did.

My condoleances to the Redgraves.

For those who do not know, Natasha Richardson, an actress whose family is extremely well-known, has died after suffering injuries stemming from a skiing accident that happened in Montreal. She was married to Liam Neeson, and is survived by her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, her husband, her two sons, her sister (Joely Richardson), as well as many other people within the Redgrave clan. I feel sorry for the family while they mourn the loss of one of their own.

Here is the link to the news on this subject.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce (or MultiRaid)

There is a new game coming out that I will be getting whenever I can pre-order the game. The game is called Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce and it's a PSP-exclusive game. I downloaded the Japanese demo of the game, and I have to say, I absolutely love the game. There are 41 playable character with four other characters that are "hidden" characters that you must unlock. The four other characters are Orochi, Da Ji, Kiyomori, and a panda. Yes, you heard me correctly: a panda. There are special requirements that one must complete (if you want to) to get some special stuff when you return to the town.

This game is geared more towards multiplay but you can go it alone if that is what you want. I don't know anyone else who has a PSP so I usually go it alone anyway.

I hope I enjoy the game as much as I enjoy the demo.

Using most recent version of AIM...

Using the most recent version of AIM has become a very horrible hassle. I am getting an error every time I IM someone...

I tried to get assistance dealing with this error...tried but failed miserably. I am to the point of abandoning AIM altogether, since it's no longer user friendly.

I am no longer going to use Windows Live Writer...[Reason Why]

I am no longer going to use Windows Live Writer, because when I tried to update it to the latest version, the installer said there was an error, so I am giving up on getting it.

I may try it again later, but for now, I am done with WLW.

Facebook and spam...

Recently (within the last week or so), I have been receiving spam from sites I don't care for at all.

Facebook is one of them. I dislike the site since it has LOOSE privacy support. Oh well. I suppose I will have to continue to delete messages from sites like Facebook aside from the account that I have with that site already.

That's basically it for now.

The Game is almost here...

The game that I bought thru Amazon.com, Warriors Orochi, is almost here. It will be delivered today, March 31, 2008, and I am excited to get it.

Kings Cross Bridge and Clock MAY be removed for an expansion project...

I read on TLC that the bridge and clock used in the first film of Harry Potter may be taken down as part of a project to expand the Kings Cross train station in London, UK.

That's all well and good that people are willing to petition the planners and builders to try and stop them from doing this, but the fact of the matter is, the planners and builders should do what they feel is necessary for the project.

The Harry Potter so-called "super fans" will try and prevent this from happening, but it's not really that important, at least to me.

I haven't been to London (ever), and even if I do go there someday, I probably won't try and go to Kings Cross station and be "amazed" at the structure.

I read the comments from other fans, and most of them seem too baby-ish to understand that even if they do make up a petition, the likely results will be the same: the project will go forward as planned.

There's also nothing in the news post that says this structure will be permanently removed. I wish that these fans of Harry Potter would stop thinking they are the ones that control things outside of their own misguided imaginations.

Well, I just wanted to make it known that I am not really for the project, but on the other side of the coin, I am not really against it. It will happen regardless.

Well...my birthday came and went...

My birthday happens the day before Valentine's Day, and so I had turned 29. Nothing much happened that day, I just was really laying low. I had fun though.

Happy New Year.... and a belated Merry X-Mas...

I just wanted to say that I am still alive.

For X-Mas, I received from my cousin (we do family exchanges for X-mas) a video game (Dynasty Warriors Volume 2).

This game is awesome, so much so that I have played it before on the old Xbox system.

My favorite character of DW will have to be Guan Yu. My second favorite would be Gan Ning.

I also used the money that my former step-mom gave me (in the form of a gift card) to get Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes.

It's a fun game. I like it. Even though it can be difficult.

Rants...about sports (NFL)...

I just have to say this, I am disgusted with humans. They are nice to those people that they like, but when one person slips up (makes a "mistake"), they turn on that person and ostracize them.

Case in point: Jessica Simpson, and her "involvement" with the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Philadelphia  Eagles on Sunday. Ok, so  Jess went to the game. What part of that is so troubling? You don't see people getting on Jack Nicholson's case when he's going to Lakers'  games in Los Angeles... so why is it different for Jess Simpson? Is it because she's a woman? I don't really like Jessica Simpson, never had anyway, but the way that "people" comment about her makes me think that Jessica Simpson should sue all those that defame her (especially  Terrell Owens).

The loss was never Jess' fault. It was the performance of the players that was at fault. Even if Jess had something to do with this, she's not to be blamed, the blame always lays with the players. That is how it should be and how it will be (with me, at least).

When I put the QUOTATION MARKS around people, I mean that they are so-called people. I don't consider those types of "people" people in the least, they're most likely rats.

Annoyances...

I am annoyed by some stuff that's happening with shows, and other stuff.

I don't know why people must be so irritating. I have distanced myself from IMDB, with one username with that site, and only use it sparingly with other usernames.

I watch Avatar, a TV show on Nickelodeon, and I keep up-to-date with a site that has an annoying habit of telling others about the ratings, or lack thereof, for Avatar in its final season.

I wish that the person who writes about the ratings situation for Avatar would end his quest to expose the ratings situation. I don't care about the ratings situations at all. I just don't care.

For the time being, I am done.

I am no longer going to be posting via WLWriter...

I have no ability to post using Windows Live Writer anymore, so I am not going to use it again (or until I get something done). It's sad, but I will use the website to post here.

Musicians are taking back what they have from the RIAA...

There have been several musical groups in the last couple weeks that have decided to remove the record labels from their coat-tails.

Radiohead became the first music group to remove their label from representing them. They are allowing their fans to set the price of the music that the fans will buy. In addition to Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails has decided to go ahead and do the same thing... Trent Reznor, frontman of NIN, has always encouraged fans to do what they will with his music (even if they "illegally" download the music).

These four groups are the most current number to shake off their labels

I would like to say that I am excited to see where this leads. I am pretty sure that the above-mentioned musical groups may have some backlash for this (most notably, they may not be invited to award shows like the Grammy's or the Billboard Music Awards or even the American Music Awards). I will say this as well.. good luck, guys. You are treading on a new road that may well shape the future of the music world.

Asking for help can mean asking for trouble at times...

I was wanting to ask for help with something that has been plaguing me for a LONG time... I did just that within a Yahoo! Group dedicated to JavaScript and AJAX technologies about 2 weeks ago, but when I checked today, the response I had received was not so helpful in the least. The group owner, Jonas Raoni, basically said that his group wasn't  Yahoo! help site, well, that much is blindingly obvious, Mr. Raoni.

I had to use both another group, and Yahoo! Answers to see if I can get the help that I desire.

Here is the message I sent to that JavaScript group:

Whenever I try to use the "Personal Assistant" on the main Yahoo page, I don't get the windows to slide open (I don't have that problem whenever I go to AOL's main page). How do I re-enable a previously disabled AJAX? Is there a way to do that? Any help will be appreciated.

With all that trouble, I think I shouldn't have ever joined that JavaScript group in the first place, seeing as how I was primarily denied help. I feel unsatisfied with how the request of help failed. It's not a good thing to refuse to help on an excuse such as "This isn't a Yahoo! site, email Yahoo! about it." No, that's not what Jonas Raoni should have done. He should have made any effort to help, but it's too bad that he didn't help me.

weirdsis's essay doesn't even mean anything, she just made that essay to make other people angry.

If you’ve only read the books once, you don’t ‘love’ Harry Potter, and if you’ve only seen the movies, you don’t even ‘know’ Harry Potter. (from her essay)

Please, she doesn't know anything about how people can do both..

How is it possible to read Harry Potter only once?

Easy, it's only a stupid book series, and a series that is enjoyable and who really cares about how many times one reads the fraking books?

How can you not read the books repeatedly (and constantly have one of the audio books going so you can listen when you do other things)?

Easy, it's only a stupid book series, and a series that is enjoyable and who really cares about how many times one reads the fraking books?

If you’re an American, how can you not need both the British and American versions of each book (because reading about the differences on the Lexicon just isn’t enough)?

$$$$$$ <<===ever hear of this?? Please, not everyone has trillions of dollars or like monies

How can you not be excited about sitting for your Level II WOMBAT (Wizards’ Ordinary Magic and Basic Aptitude Test given by J. K. Rowling on her website)?

Do I need to? Of course I don't... Harry Potter is NOT that important.

How can you not wonder about theories even as unlikely as a conspiracy involving Dobby in Dumbledore’s death? (The sock connection makes this theory plausible, of course.)

Please, another stupid theory that has no basis in anything resembling truth or anything like that at all...

Harry Potter "Superfans"? Please, there's no such thing.. and if you think I am being unfair, I have every right to be unfair to weirdsis's essay, and this isn't a personal attack on weirdsis at all.. it's a disagreement on her essay and her thoughts of the Potter fans.

Facebook and my involvement with it...

I am thinking of removing my account with Facebook, a social networking site, because I don't really need the account to be active. I know 3 people who use the site, but that's nothing compared to the fact that I usually get messages that really don't have any bearing on my involvement with the whole thing. I am going to decide, and the decision will not be made public, I may note it some time in the future, but that's not going to happen for awhile yet.

In other news, I am fine, I know that I haven't been blogging here lately, I haven't really been doing any blogging at all for the last several months. It may be that I am losing some interest in it.

Whatever the case, I will try to keep this blog up to date.

I am just posting this from WLW

I had to change the blog's WLW background so that it would be the same as the web version. I am glad I did, since I had the red one on the WLW side.

KYLE XY

Last night, I saw the first episode of the second season for Kyle XY.

I really liked it. It was an emotionally driven episode.

For those that don't know...

Netscape, owned by AOL, released version 9 of the Navigator web browser. It's named Netscape Navigator 9 and you can download it here. I put it on my page FM, so that it'd be easier to use.

The Windows Live Writer Beta 2 has been released...

The beta 2 of Windows Live Writer has been released, and it's a cool app. It's also good to note that the beta 1 of Windows Live Messenger 8.5 and the beta 1 of Windows Live Mail (No desktop) desktop app has also been released.

Spamming Ways

I am getting really tired of spammers and their ways of doing things. I wish there was a way that one can batch block spammers by IP addresses. I think if one can do that, it would save a lot of trouble for the layperson. I detest spam, and phishing attacks. On social network sites, if I see a message from a spammer and/or a phisher, I usually report them to the site admins, and let them take care of it, also I block them from contacting me again, that's how I usually do it. In the case that I can't do it, I just report them.

I just wish things were spam- / phishing attack-free. I think everyone should have a right to ignore spam. I love the way that Gmail allows you to ignore the number of spam that one would get, just by placing all the spam in the trash label.

Paris Hilton is sad....

I am sick of news on Paris Hilton and people giving her a shoulder to cry on. She doesn't need that. I am not going to say anything more but this: She needs to grow up.

Detroit Redwings are going onto the second round!!

Last night, in Calgary, the Redwings doused the hopes of the Calgary Flames in the NHL Playoffs. The Redwings will be going on to the next round. I don't know who will play the Wings, but I think it could be either the SJ Sharks or the Anaheim Ducks. I, for one, am happy with the result.

There is something I would like to have revealed...

I was at IMDB today, and I was wanting to check something, and lo and behold, what I found out was what I had semi-anticipated. There are FAQ sections for the film/TV entries on IMDB, and I started a FAQ for one of my favorite shows, but some loser-idiot didn't like that I did that (apparently) and changed the whole thing on me. Not that I mind, but it would have been best to just leave it alone. Oh well.

I have been watching several anime in the past several weeks...

I have been watching some anime in the past several weeks, and I have got to say that those anime -- well, most of them -- are pretty good. There's one that I had stated was one of my favorites called Trinity Blood. It's such a great anime, and if you want to watch it, and if you want to know more about it, please go here.

There's also another anime that I watched called Blood+. It too is an anime featuring fantastic and scary creatures, if you want to know more about it, please go here. I hope you enjoyed this post, please feel free to leave a comment.
